STORY (By Episode) Episode 3: The Water Knight, The Sword of Revenge Fuuko and Recca continue to fight and Recca's flame finally defeats Fuuko's wind. Recca now aims for the elemental weapon at the center of her Fujin and it cracks. Fuuko gets very mad and decides to create a tornado around herself. Kage Houshi tells Recca and Domon that Fuuko might die in about 2 minutes. Recca & Domon are getting hella mad and sad at the same time. Then they see Recca's cap fly towards the center of Fuuko's tornado and as it comes to the center it just drops. Recca & Domon realize that the air is calm at the center of the tornado, where Fuuko is. So they both team up. Domon gives Recca a boost up to the center of the tornado and Recca summons his flame to break the elemental weapon. Fuuko is saved and as the wind is dying down it shreds her clothes. There's a big boom and Yanagi starts to wake up. Fuuko realizes that she's naked and she punches Recca and says DON'T LOOK!! Domon punches him and calls him a bastard. Yanagi calls him a pervert. Domon offers Fuuko his jacket and asks what happened to her. Recca tells her that she was controlled by the Fujin and Kage Houshi. Kage Houshi tells them that she's impressed by the way they fight. She says that she can't wait to see how her next assault goes. Then the three insist on killing her right now. Kage Houshi tells them that she's immortal and proves it by stabbing herself on the heart. Then she tells Recca that she's the one who saved his life 400 years ago. That's why time has been her curse and hasn't allowed her to die. She's all overjoyed that she finally found him after searching for 400 years. Recca's all confused and stuff now but before he can say anything she disappears. During all this, Recca and the others didn't notice him. In the shadows, someone had witnessed their fight. The next day at school, Tokiya Mikagami, an older student, speaks with Recca, questioning about the previous night. Recca evades the questions with other incriminating answers. He begs Tokiya not to tell anyone that it was him who flicked paint on the assistant principal's bald head. Tokiya is unsatisfied and demands that sooner or later he'll give him an answer. Yanagi's confused and wonders how he knew about last night. Tokiya is walking towards a fountain. He takes out his Ensui and dips it in the water and it turns into a sword. Kage Houshi appears and says that Tokiya lost his sister over his Ensui. She asks when she was killed. He tells her that these guys who were after the Ensui tried to kill Tokiya but instead she took the hit and she died. It's been 7 yrs. and he already forgotten it. Kage Houshi calls him a liar. She tells him that the only thing that he's been doing was searching for her killer to get revenge. She saw him watching the fight from last night, but only caught the end of it. She tells him that Fuko and Recca were fighting because Recca wanted Fuko's Fujin. She points out that it's similar to his sister's situation. Tokiya decides to fight Recca now. Recca's at home with his father and asks him if the lady in the picture really is his mother. He turns around and he's smoking again while making the fireworks. Recca kicks him in the face again and reminds him what he said about that. Then his father hits him back. He asks Recca to buy him more cigars so he does. On his way home he runs into Tokiya. Tokiya shows him the picture of his sister and it really looks like Yanagi. Recca was very surprised. Tokiya assumes that Recca knows her so they start to fight. Tokiya brings out his Ensui and remembers the time when his sister was taken to the hospital and gave him the Ensui. Then all of a sudden Yanagi senses that Tokiya would hurt Recca so she goes out and finds them. Recca's already been beaten by Tokiya when Yanagi finds them. Tokiya stares at her calling her OnEi-SaMa (sister). Yanagi runs to the battered Recca and crouches by his side, sobbing. Episode 4: Labyrinth of Mirrors. Flame's Do or Die Spirit!! As Yanagi is running towards Recca Tokiya jumps in from of him and walks towards Yanagi. He tells her that she looks like his sister. She doesn't care and runs to Recca crying. She asks him why he did this and he tells her that he saved his emotions for someone else to get revenge on his sister's killer. Then he tells Recca that Yanagi has saved him and goes away. Recca wakes up and Yanagi heals him. A small waterfall tumbles down into a luxurious pool where Kouran receives more information on the girl who healed the boy at the construction site. Yanagi. Kouran regards a picture of Yanagi taking care of a group of kids and requests for more information on her from his goons. The immortality trick of the Hokage Ninja will finally be discovered with the help of this girl. Recca, Domon and Fuko meet to account the earlier night's events. Fuko informs the other two that Tokiya is the smartest kid in school and one grade higher than them. Recca tells them that he has an elemental weapon, Ensui, and they assume that Kage Houshi is behind this. When they suggests for Recca to beat up Tokiya, his defeated expression stops them. At the day care center, Yanagi tells an interesting story to the children (Recca beat up the big bad Domon and saved his princess and they lived happily ever after!!!). She asks the children what they think and they all say that it stinks. Without Yanagi noticing, Fuko and Domon say so as well. She sees Recca by himself on the swings outside and decides to talk to him. She invites them all to go to the amusement park the next day. Tokiya watches the four of them, paying special attention to Recca. he seems confused on how Recca's injuries healed so quickly. He spins around and walks away. Recca doesn't participate in the fun with the others, choosing instead to stare at his absolutely fascinating shoes. When Yanagi asks him what's wrong, he replies that it is his duty to protect her, yet she is always saving him. Yanagi tells him not to worry about it and goes off to get everyone drinks. Yanagi walks back with the juice wondering how to help Recca out of his depression. She is stopped by Tokiya who leads her into the House of Mirrors. Fuuko and Domon urge Recca to snap out of his despondency and find Yanagi who is taking too long. Exasperated by his lack of response, Fuuko and Domon search for Yanagi on their own, leaving Recca to stare after them. Recca hears her voice in the house of mirrors saying not to come in but he does anyway. He finds her there wit Tokiya and they start to fight. Recca summons his flames but Tokiya extinguishes all of them. They break a couple of mirrors and Yanagi is about to get hit by the glass but Recca comes in time to take the hits. Yanagi asks if he's okay and he's all yeah sure no prob. He takes a piece of glass out from is forehead and blood starts to gush out. Fuko and Domon find Recca and try to get into the fight but Kage Houshi appears and freezes them so they won't interfere. Recca and Tokiya are still fighting and Recca's been punching mirrors instead of Tokiya. All of a sudden Recca starts to laugh and tells Tokiya that he'll beat him in two more flames. Recca breaks all the mirrors with his flame then uses the substitution technique with a mirror to attack from the ceiling then uses his flame to evaporate his Ensui and punches Tokiya with his flame. Tokiya surrenders to Recca, accepting that Recca did not know of his sister's death. Kage Houshi apologizes to them all. Recca glares at her accusingly. She explains that she needs to improve their skills, for another Flame master will appear before them. Among his followers will be the person who killed Tokiya's sister. Tokiya interrupts, saying that it does not concern him. He asks Recca if he believes that he can truly protect Yanagi. Recca answers affirmatively. Should he not succeed, he would commit Hara-kiri (suicide). Tokiya smiles at that and tells him that he really is a traditional ninja and that if he can't protect Yanagi, he'll slice him in half with his Ensui; and then he leaves. Recca faints and Yanagi cuts herself to heal Recca's injuries with her own blood. Then Kage Houshi says to herself that they can't afford loose if they team up together and calls Recca her beautiful son, then disappears. Behind her, a man watches the entire scene. The investigators told Kouran that Yanagi is definately the girl with the power. They also tell him that she hangs out with certain people. Kurei begins to laugh because now he knows why the elemental items felt so necessary and promises to kidnap Yanagi.
