STORY (By Episode) Episode 5: Shadow Ninja Group. Mystery of Hokage!! Recca is talking to Yanagi in her homeroom class and Fuuko comes in and points out to Recca and Yanagi what's on the newspaper. It was about yesterday's incident at the house of mirrors. Then Recca goes to his own class. Tatesako Fumio, Recca's substitute teacher, is teaching them about Japan's history. He says that because their real teacher, Tamaki-sensei, contracted pregnancy so Fumio says some dumb joke and says THANK YOU FOR BEING PREGNANT!! The whole class is silent and Recca all of a sudden stands up and yells BRAVO!! He tells him that that was the funniest joke he's ever heard from a history teacher. Then he insists that he talks about the Ninjas from the past. Fumio then asks if he's into Ninjas too and Recca says OF COURSE!! So they both go to the teacher's lounge to talk more about them. Yanagi suddenly shows up and Recca tells Fumio that Yanagi is his Hime whom he protects. Fumio asks him what he wanted to know and Recca asks him if he knew anything of the Hokage Ninjas. Fumio tells him never to say that in public and to meet him at his house after school. Recca, Yanagi, Fuko, and Domon are now on their way to Fumio's house. They arrive at his house and is surprised that he lives in a temple. Fumio then takes them to this one room. It's like a museum of Ninja stuff and Recca is very impressed. Then a lady comes up to them and greets them. They are all surprised that Fumio is married to a beautiful wife. Yanagi offers her ingredients of curry to her and Fumio's wife asks if she wants to help her cook it and she accepts. All of a sudden Yanagi screams and they all ask what's wrong and she says that she forgot to buy curry powder. Kouran and Kurei are watching the news and Kouran receives another reward for contributing money to the poor. Kurei congratulates him and Kouran tells him that the control of society requires many faces. He also says that people judge by looks, not who they are. Then Kouran tells him to kidnap the healer. It's already nighttime and they are all still at Fumio's house. Yanagi is cooking the curry and Fumio's wife asks if Recca is her boyfriend and she turns all red and accidentally burns herself. Fumio's wife comments that they would make a cute couple. Then it starts to rain and Yanagi helps Fumio's wife to take the laundry inside before it gets all wet. Fumio and Recca are talking about the Hokage Ninja. He tells him that they are Ninjas of Ninjas and shows him a scroll of their brief history. Recca sees a sign that he's seen before but doesn't know where (it's from Kage Houshi's right hand) Fumio adds that their power came from their minds and created elemental weapons with it. Then Recca also sees Fuko's Fujin, Tokiya's Ensui, and Kage Houshi's Eikai Ball. Fumio tells him that they can also control time and flame. Recca remembers that Kage Houshi told him the same thing. All of a sudden the lights go out and they heard someone coming. They open the door and it's a little kid carrying something big wrapped in paper. He walks in and says that he came to kidnap Sakoshita Yanagi. Recca gets mad and shouts if he even knew what kidnap meant. The boy tells him to take by force and if anyone gets in his way they'll get some of this. He takes the paper off the object and Fumio realizes that it's the Kougan Anki, one of the elemental weapons. Fumio tells Recca that it has 5 different forms and it's master must be very skillful to use it. The kid tells Fumio that he knows too much about the Hokage and punches him in the stomach. Recca tries to attack but the kid is too fast. He introduces himself as Koganei Kaoru then he attacks Recca and kicks him out of the room. Recca jumps back inside and summons his flame. All of a sudden he's paralyzed. He looks behind him and it's a man with a ring which releases poison to paralyze people. The man says that he won't hurt him, but if he was a woman he would. Then from the other side they hear Fumio's wife and Yanagi talking. Recca tries to move but he can't. The man walks towards the door and branches come out of his body. He hits Fumio's wife, causing her to be unconscious. He goes after Yanagi and Kaoru tells the man, Nagai Mokuren, to stop. He reminds him that they only have to kidnap Yanagi, so Mokuren sheds his paralyzing poison and Yanagi faints. Then Domon and Fuuko appear. Mokuren attacks Fuuko but Domon is just in time to save her. Then Mokuren hits Domon out of the way and Fuuko attacks. Then Mokuren blocks it and ties Fuuko up in his branches. Kaoru cuts it and let's Fuuko free. Kaoru tells Mokuren that it's time to go. As they are walking off with Fumio and Yanagi, Recca is getting mad at himself for letting this happen so he stabs himself. He runs and attacks Mokuren. He tells his Hime that everything's okay now, but Kaoru attacks him from the back and it causes Recca to be unconscious. Then they go off. Kurei tells Kouran that they have kidnapped Yanagi and they'll begin her tests soon. Kouran is overjoyed and is excited that he'll have eternal life. Episode 6: The Mad Flame Master, Kurei!! Yanagi wakes up in an unfamiliar place. She hears someone open the door and it's Kaoru giving her her clothes. Kaoru mentions Kurei and Yanagi asks what he wants from her. Then Kurei appears and tells Yanagi himself. He walks closer while Yanagi is terrified and Kurei introduces himself. Recca's in the hospital and suddenly yells HIME!! Everyone stares at him and his dad punches his head because he's so loud. His dad is angry and tells him that he can fight as much as he wants but he doesn't have to involve Fuuko, the sensei's wife, and Domon into it. The he leaves because he has to pay. Fuuko tells Recca that the sensei's wife has to be hospitalized for a while, but she'll be okay. Then he asks how his Hime and the sensei are and Domon tells him that they've been kidnapped. Recca gets very mad. Kurei tells Yanagi that she's in his father's house in the mountains that hardly anybody knows about. She looks at a picture and it's Kouran. Kurei tells her that he is his father. He also says that he's the owner of the Kokom foundation. Then he says that the best way to make money is to do evil things. He offers her some tea and tells her about his father wanting eternal life. He tells her that Yanagi might be the key. Yanagi tells him that she doesn't know what she's talking about then she faints. As she faints, Kurei summons his flame and it rips off Yanagi's clothes. Then she remembers what Kage Houshi said about another flame master. Recca, Fuuko, and Domon are in the old warehouse where Recca first met Kage Houshi. Recca is yelling on the top of his lungs for Kage Houshi to appear. Then she finally does. Recca wants to know where his Hime is. She tells him that she didn't have anything to do with it this time. She shows them all that her Eikai Ball can show them anything. She shows them where Mokuren and Kaoru took her. They ask who that masked ugly man is and Kage Houshi says that it's Kurei. She tells them that Kurei wants to know more about Yanagi's healing power. Then Recca walks off telling them all that he's gonna rescue his Hime. Kage Houshi tells him that Kurei is much stronger than the two and that it's hard to get in. Recca tells her that he's her Ninja and he'll do anything to save her even if it means his death. He threatens that he'll kill her if she gets in his way. Kage Houshi asks Recca to promise her that if he thinks he can't beat Kurei than he should run. She tells him that if he dies...who's gonna save Yanagi?! To endure humiliation is part of being a Ninja. Nanja's "Nin" represents endurance. So he agrees and thanks her. Recca runs off and Fuuko and Domon follow him. Then Kage Houshi says to herself that she'll tell him everything as his mother. Recca's in his room getting dressed up as a Ninja. He runs off and Domon is standing in the corner asking him where he's going dressed off like that. Recca asks why the two of them are here and Fuuko appears saying that they're gonna help Recca. So they all go off. As they're running through the woods they were attacked by some people. So they all fight all these guys. All of a sudden all the men go away and Recca, Fuuko, and Domon are wondering what happened. Then a big explosion occurs. Yanagi, watching from her window, is thinking what happened too. Kurei comes up behind her and says that her friends came to save her. Yanagi is all sad now and then some fireworks come out outside. Yanagi is relieved and looks outside the window. Recca, Fuuko, and Domon are still running thinking that those men were dumb. Kurei starts to laugh too then punches Yanagi. They come up to more men and start fighting even more. They finally get in the building and come across a hallway with a statue standing right in the middle. They walk further and the statue shoots lasers. They try to attack it but it's too fast. They hear Kurei's voice and he introduces himself to them. He tells them that he named his statue, Maria, and she attacks whenever something moves. He tells them that this is just the first game and laughs.
